The muted green board-and-batten exterior feels right at home against the Texas landscape, while natural wood columns and beams bring warmth to the front elevation. Stone bases anchor the porch and add another layer of texture.

One of our favorite elements is the backsplash. The white brick-style tile introduces just enough texture and imperfection to give the kitchen character, while the floating wood shelves tie back into the beams and other natural finishes throughout the home.
Then there’s the black farmhouse sink positioned beneath a generous bank of windows.
Because washing dishes is considerably less offensive when you at least have a Texas view.
The wood range hood, black hardware, glass pendant lighting, and custom cabinetry finish the space without making it feel overly designed. Everything has a purpose, and everything belongs.
Open Concept Without Losing Character
Creating an open floor plan sounds simple until you actually have to make one feel like a home instead of one enormous room.
That’s where architectural details matter.
